More and more people start making Maki / Sushi.

I propose here a recipe for making Maki with: salmon / avocado, salmon / cucumber, prawn / cucumber, prawn / avocado.

Ingredients for about 150 pieces.

- 1 avocado
- Half a cucumber
- 300g of salmon (or whatever you want)
- 8 prawn (which corresponds to 4 rolls about 24 maki)
- 10 sheets of nori

- 500g short grain rice
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 90ml rice vinegar

First the rice, because it should be cold.

- Put the rice vinegar in a saucepan, add the sugar and salt and boil until the mixture becomes transparent. Then keep.

- Cook rice as discribe on the package. Generally 500g of rice to 750ml water.Wait about 7 min.

- When cooked, put your rice in a bowl. Put the vinegar mixture over rice and mix well but delicately. Let cool down.

- Meanwhile, Cut the cucumber and avocado to sticks. Do the same with salmon and cut prawns in 2 (you will of course remove skin before)

Making your maki.

- Take a sheet of nori cut into 2 in the width direction.

- Moist your hands with water (so the rice will not stick to your hands) then take some rice and file it in the middle of the nori sheet.

- Spread the rice on the nori but leave a small part (the top) without rice.

- Put fish or prawn with cucumber or avocado horizontally just below the middle.

- Roll your Maki.

- Place the rolls in the fridge for 30 minutes then wet a knife to cut the maki. Go very delicately.

You can also add wasabi directly inside the maki.

Bon appetit
